The preparedness for the management of pre-primary schools of Tambon administrative organizations in Samutsakhon province
Abstract:
This research had 3 objectives which were 1) to study the environmental factors
contributing to preparedness for the management of pre-primary school of Tambon
Administrative Organizations 2) to study the level of preparedness and 3) to study
relationships between environmental factors and the preparedness for the management. The
targeted population was the chairman, the deputy and the administrative assistant of Tambon
Administrative Organizations in Samutsakhon Province, totaling 120 persons. The data is
analyzed using quantitative research analysis comprising of mean, standard deviation,
maximum, minimum and analytical statistics of Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation
Coefficient.
The research found the following results:-
1. The internal and external environmental factors contributing to the preparedness
for the management of pre-primary schools in Tambon Administrative Organizations (TAO)
are attitude, cooperation in education work within TAO and participation of the local
population; whereas, factors on knowledge, personnel’s acknowledgement of the management
of pre-primary school and resource allocation for education management as well as support
from other government agencies are not at a significant level that can contribute to the
preparedness for the management of a pre-primary school.
2. The preparedness for the management of pre-primary schools in Tambon
administrative organizations is at an average level. Organizational structure preparation is at
low level while preparation of education management systems, education personnel training
and development, and education network systems is at an average level.
3. The environmental factors such as knowledge of the management of pre-primary
schools, acknowledgement of education information, attitude towards education management
and cooperation in educational work have relationships with the preparedness for the
management at a low level, while the relationships of factors on resource allocation for
education management, participation of local population and support from other government
agencies have relationships with the preparedness for the management at an average level.
