Abstract: At the present time, information technology plays a big part in peoples’ lives, especially in adapting the filing system of information for more convenience and a faster pace because the original system might result in the loss of information and consume a lot of time. The purpose of this research is to develop a database for ordering the products using a Web browser program through the Internet. The research aimed at developing a more efficient system by applying information technology to the working process in order to maximize the satisfaction of user needs. The result of this research is the development of Web-Database application software for Narong Metal Work Co., Ltd., a system capable of checking purchasing cost, ordering and delivering products, and also producing purchasing orders on the internet. This Web application prototype uses MySQL as a database, at the same time it uses PHP and JavaScript language to design the interface between the Web browser and users. After testing and evaluation of this system, it was found to work accurately and to efficiently support the user requirements. To employ the system and increase the usefulness of this system, this prototype should be connected to the E-Payment system and with other systems used in Narong Metal Work Co., Ltd

Abstract: ปัจจุบันระบบสารสนเทศได้ถูกนำมาใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันมากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง การ นำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดเก็บข้อมูลต่างๆ เพื่อความสะดวกรวดเร็วในการทำงาน เนื่องจากระบบ การจัดเก็บข้อมูลแบบเดิมอาจทำให้ข้อมูลสูญหาย และใช้เวลาในการค้นหาข้อมูลนาน การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลและระบบสั่งซื้อสินค้า ในลักษณะ web application โดยใช้กรณีศึกษาเป็น บริษัท ณรงค์ เมทเท็ล เวอร์ค จำกัด เพื่อพัฒนาระบบการ ทำงานให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น โดยนำเอาระบบเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเข้ามาประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อ ตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าและเจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ใช้ระบบให้สามารถปฎิบัติงานได้อย่างมี ประสิทธิภาพ ผลของการศึกษาทำให้ได้โปรแกรม ซึ่งสามารถตรวจสอบราคาสินค้า ใบสั่งสินค้าและใบ ส่งสินค้าได้ อีกทั้งยังสามารถสร้างใบสั่งสินค้า และใบส่งสินค้าบนระบบเครือข่ายอินเตอร์เน็ตได้อีก ด้วย ซึ่งการพัฒนาระบบงานนี้ได้ใช้โปรแกรม MySQL เป็นตัวจัดการด้านฐานข้อมูล และใช้ PHP Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and JavaScript language ในการติดต่อระหว่าง web browser กับผู้ใช้เครื่อง client หลังการทดสอบระบบ พบว่าสามารถทำงานได้อย่างถูกต้องและมีประสิทธิภาพ ตรงตาม ความต้องการของผู้ใช้ ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยยังได้มีข้อเสนอแนะในการพัฒนางานวิจัยนี้ต่อไปคือ ควรจะมีการ พัฒนาให้มีการเชื่อมโยงการจ่ายเงินค่าสินค้าผ่านทางระบบ E-payment และเชื่อมต่อกับระบบงาน อื่นๆ ภายในบริษัทเพื่อให้ระบบนี้มีประสิทธิภาพที่ดียิ่งขึ้นต่อไป
