Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop prototype software that can help break some limitations of a replication system, and evaluate that developed prototype software against a replication system of commercial DBMS software. The prototype software was developed by using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as a programming tool, Microsoft Access 2000 as a database of client and Microsoft SQL 2000 server as a database of server information. The evaluation system was chosen by using Microsoft SQL 2000 server as a replication system of DBMS. The prototype application consists of 2 main parts. The first part is a prototype application of the client, which performs a replication function of the client’s system. The second part is a prototype application of the server, which performs a replication function of the server’s system. Results show that the prototype system performed quite satisfactorily in terms of fast performance, accuracy, flexibility and ease of use.

Abstract: วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้เป็นการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาโปรแกรมต้นฉบับเพื่อช่วยลดข้อ จำกัดของระบบการสำเนาข้อมูลของระบบฐานข้อมูลแบบกระจาย และประเมินโปรแกรมต้น ฉบับที่ถูกพัฒนาเทียบกับระบบการสำเนาข้อมูลของระบบฐานข้อมูลแบบกระจายที่มีจำหน่าย ในท้องตลาด โปรแกรมต้นฉบับที่ถูกพัฒนาขึ้นดังกล่าวใช้เครื่องมือในการพัฒนาดังต่อไปนี้ ได้แก่ Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 เพื่อช่วยในการเขียนโปรแกรมภาษาเบสิค, Microsoft Access 2000 เพื่อช่วยในการเก็บข้อมูลของclient และ Microsoft SQL 2000 server เพื่อช่วยในการ เก็บข้อมูลของserver สำหรับระบบประเมินนั้นประกอบด้วยการใช้ระบบการสำเนาข้อมูลของ ระบบฐานข้อมูลแบบกระจายของMicrosoft SQL 2000 server โปรแกรมต้นฉบับประกอบด้วย 2 ส่วน ได้แก่ ส่วนแรกที่โปรแกรมต้นฉบับที่ทำงาน ในส่วนของclientซึ่งช่วยทำงานสำเนาข้อมูลในระบบของclient และส่วนที่สองที่โปรแกรม ต้นฉบับที่ทำงานในส่วนของserver ซึ่งช่วยทำงานสำเนาข้อมูลในระบบของserver ผลลัพธ์ที่ได้จากการพัฒนาระบบ พบว่าได้ผลเป็นที่น่าพอใจทั้งในส่วนของ ประสิทธิภาพที่ รวดเร็วของการทำงาน ความถูกต้อง มีความยืดหยุ่นและง่ายต่อการใช้งาน
