Abstract:
การวิจัยเรื่องการประเมินโครงการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านของโรงเรียนทรงวิทยา จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 4 ด้านคือ (1) เพื่อประเมินบริบท (Context Evaluation) ของโครงการ (2) เพื่อประเมินปัจจัยนำเข้า (Input Evaluation) ของโครงการ (3) เพื่อประเมินกระบวนการ (Process Evaluation) ของโครงการ และ (4) เพื่อประเมินผลผลผลิตของโครงการ (Product Evaluation) ของโครงการ โดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาจากประชากรที่เป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนทรงวิทยา จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ในปีการศึกษา 2546 จำนวน 160 คน ผู้บริหารและครูผู้รับผิดชอบโครงการจำนวน 24 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นเอง แบบสอบถามฉบับผู้บริหาร และครู มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.97 ฉบับนักเรียนมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.90 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. สถานภาพของผู้บริหาร และครูโรงเรียนทรงวิทยา จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง อายุมากกว่า 40 ปี ตำแหน่ง ครูผู้สอน ระดับการศึกษาปริญญาตรีและมีประสบการณ์ในการทำงานมากกว่า 15 ปี สำหรับนักเรียนเป็นเพศชายและเพศหญิงจำนวนเท่ากัน ส่วนใหญ่พักอาศัยกับบิดา มารดา และมีผลการเรียนรู้เฉลี่ยมากกว่า 2.50
2. การประเมินโครงการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านของโรงเรียนทรงวิทยา จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ของผู้บริหารและครู ในภาพรวมและรายด้านมีระดับความคิดเห็นในระดับเห็นด้วย
มากที่สุดทุกด้านตามลำดับ คือ ด้านบริบท ด้านกระบวนการ ด้านผลผลิต และด้านปัจจัยนำเข้า ดังนี้
2.1 ด้านบริบท โครงการนี้มีความสอดคล้องกับวัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการในด้านการกระตุ้นให้นักเรียนเห็นความสำคัญของการอ่าน ซึ่งเป็นแนวทางในการปลูกฝังนิสัยรักการอ่านให้นักเรียนได้ รวมทั้งนักเรียนยังรู้จักการใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์ได้ดีขึ้น
2.2 ด้านกระบวนการ ผู้บริหาร ครู และนักเรียนให้ความร่วมมือกับโครงการเป็นอย่างดี มีการจัดตั้งคณะกรรมการทั้งครูและนักเรียน เพื่อดำเนินการคัดเลือกสื่อที่มีคุณภาพ และเหมาะสมในการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านของนักเรียนแต่ระดับชั้น
2.3 ด้านผลผลิต นักเรียนได้รับความเพลิดเพลินจากการเข้าร่วมโครงการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่าน และสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในกลุ่มสาระวิชาต่างๆ ได้ดีขึ้น
2.4 ด้านปัจจัยนำเข้า จำนวนบุคลากรมีความเพียงพอและเหมาะสมในการดำเนินโครงการ นอกจากนี้สถานที่ทั้งห้องสมุด ห้องเรียน และบรรยากาศภายในโรงเรียนเอื้ออำนวยต่อการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
3. ผลการวิจัยการประเมินโครงการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านของโรงเรียนทรงวิทยา จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ของนักเรียน พบว่า
ด้านผลผลิต นักเรียนมีนิสัยรักการแสวงหาความรู้ด้วยการอ่าน และมีความเพลิดเพลินในการอ่านของนักเรียน อีกทั้งสามารถนำประสบการณ์ความรู้หลังการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านไปประยุกต์ใช้ในกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้อื่นได้
This research, An Evaluation of the Project of Encouraging Students to Gain Reading Habit, Songvithaya School, Samut Prakan Province, had 4 purposes. Those purposes were: (1) to evaluate the context; (2) to evaluate the input; (3) to evaluate the process; and (4) to evaluate the product of the project. The study was conducted among a group of 160 Prathom 6 students of Songvithaya School, Samut Prakan Province, academic year 2003, including a group of 24 school administrators and teachers in charge of the project. The instruments used for data collection, were questionnaires developed by the researcher. The questionnaire for school administrators and teachers had the reliability of 0.97, while the questionnaire for students had the reliability of 0.90. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The research found that:
1. Most of the school administrators and teachers of Songvithaya School were female, aged over 40 years old. Those people were mostly teachers with bachelors degree, and they had over 15 years of work experience. The number of male
and female responding students was the same, while most of them lived with their father and mother. Those students had grade point average of over 2.50.
2. An evaluation of the project of encouraging students to gain reading habit, Songvithaya School, Samut Prakan Province, as a whole, and in aspects was at high level of agreement in all aspects. Those were the aspects of context, process, product, and input, respectively.
2.1 On the aspect of context, the project was in conformity with the objectives of the project in terms of encouraging students to realise the importance of reading. It was a path way to develop the habit of reading in students. Additionally, students learnt to spend their free time more usefully.
2.2 On the aspect of process, the administrators, teachers, and students participated in the project well. Teachers and students were involved in a committee to select equipments with quality and appropriation for the students in each level to be encouraged to gain reading habit.
2.3 On the aspect of product, the students enjoyed participating in the project of encouraging students to gain reading habit, enabling them to utilize it more in different groups of subject.
2.4 On the aspects of input, the number of staff was suitable and adequate to operate the project. Besides, the library, the class rooms, and the environment in the school truly facilitated the activities of encouraging students to gain reading habit.
3. The research results of the evaluation of the project of encouraging students to gain reading habit, Songvithaya School, Samut Prakan Province showed that: On the aspect of product, the students had a nature of seeking for knowledge, by reading, while enjoying it. They were able to utilize the experience, earned after participated in the activities of encouraging students to gain reading habit, in different groups of subject.
