Abstract:
A Study of Operations of the committee control School Boards in Basic Education Institutions Changwat Muddaharn the objective of this study was to investigate the operation of the committee control school boards in Basic educational Institutions which operate level 3-4 Basic Educational Institutions in Mukdaharns Educational sevice area according to opinion of teachersrepresentatives and committee ones. The sample group was comprised of 192 members of the committee school boards in Basic Educational Instituions of schools which operate level 3-4 Basic Educational Institutions in Muddaharn. Data were collected by rating-scale questionaires. The confidence value was at .84. The data was analyzed by percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation and hypothesis testing by t-test
Results revealed operation of the committee control school boards in basic Educational Institutions in according to the role and responsibility as stated in the Ministry of Educations B.E. 2543 principle on school Boards in Basic Educational Institutions as a whole and as individual aspects were much (x=4.31). As for the operation of the committee control school boards who were teachers representatives, it was rated at the much (x=3.59) level both as a whole and as individual aspects. The operation of committees representatives was rated much as a whole and was rated much for 9 and fair for 3 individual aspects such as policy and education development planning (x=3.37), suggestion and participation in academic management, budget, personnel administration and general administration of the education institution (x=3.40) and the assignment of advisors and/ or the committee who are to operate responsively to the Ministry of Educations principle (x=3.45)
Comparing the operation of the two groups, thd teachers representatives and the committee there was a significant statistical difference at .05
