The Ecadamic Administration Factor affect to Child Centered Approach : The case study of The secondary School under The Juisdiction of the Genaral Education Deparyment in Surin
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and compare the opinion of the administrators and teachers and study the factors affected to child centered approach of
the secondary school under the jurisdiction of the general education department in Surin.
The samples were the administrators and the teachers. The instruments were the
60 items questionnaires with three parts, part one about the status and background of the
samples and size of the schools that they were in, parts two about the factors of academic administration and part three about the opinion of the sample. There were two
sets of the questionnaires, one for the administrators and the other for the teachers.
To analyze the data the researcher used the descriptive statistics; percentage, means, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, crosstab, hierarchical regression analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The results of the research were follow :
The academic administration factors affected to child centered approach, analyzing by
hierarchical regression analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis, found that two
factors, technology and supervision, can explain 52 percent.
The others factors : administrators and teachers opinions in the secondary school
in Surin about the four factors of academic administration found that the policy and planning factors were high, the administrators opinions about the support factors were high, but the teachers opinions were medium, about the technology factors the administrations and teacher opinions were medium, and the supervision factors the
administrators opinions were high, but the teachers opinions were medium. About teaching, the administrations opinions were medium, but the teachers opinions were high.
About studying, administrations and teacher opinions were medium.
