The developement of relationship model of oriented factors affecting innovativeness and performance of Thai software businesses under the board of investment Thailand
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to: 1) investigate the relationship model of oriented factors affecting innovativeness and performance on Thai software businesses under the Board of Investment Thailand, 2) study the level of the oriented factors, and 3) study both the direct, indirect and the total effect of the oriented factors on innovativeness and performance. The oriented factors are market, entrepreneurial, and learning orientation. The 114 sample subjects work under the Board of Investment Thailand, were Thai software businessesmen and have research and development
divisions.
The data collection instruments used were a questionnaire, developed from the previous studies, with a multiple choice and a 5-rating scale. Its reliability value of 0.951 which was analyzed by using SPSS program version 17.0; percentage, mean ( X ), standard deviation (SD), PearsonYs Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, LISREL program version 8.80 for the Confirmatory Factor Analysis and test Goodness of Fit was used to see its consistency between the model and the empirical data.
The study result indicated that the model fit into the empirical data. Chi-Square is equal to 31.62, degree of freedom 25, GFI 0.95, AGFI 0.88, CFI 1.00, NFI 0.98, and RMSEA 0.048. The level of the oriented factors affecting innovativeness and performance was very high, that had direct, indirect and total effect on innovativeness and performance.
