Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the job satisfaction and other factors relating to the satisfaction of employees at World Vision Foundation of Thailand in southern area. The subjects in this study included 115 employees from World Vision Foundation of Thailand in southern area. The data were collected through the use of questionnaires, and analyzed by Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version
11. Other statistics methods including percentage, means, standard deviation, t-¬test, f¬test and Pearsons product moment correlation coefficient were also employed to answer the research questions.
The findings revealed that:
1. The job satisfaction of the employees of World Vision Foundation of Thailand in southern area was rated at a high level, with the mean value of 3.87. This indicates that most employees were satisfied with their jobs.
2 The job satisfaction of the employees of World Vision Foundation of Thailand in southern area as classified by personal factors have been revealed that differentiation of gender was a significant factor that affected the job satisfaction whereas age, education level, status, job position, length of employment, funding source of work project, and income were not.
3. All levels of the motivation and maintenance factors had positive correlation with the job satisfaction of the employees of World Vision Foundation of Thailand in southern area.
