Abstract:
The main purpose of this research was to study morality on discipline of students at the 4th interval level under the office of Rayong educational service area 1 classified by students gender and classroom level.
The sample of this study included 363 students under the office of Rayong educational service area 1. The instrument used to collect the data for this research was a 5-rating scale questionnaire consisting of 30 items with its reliability at .88. The data were statistically analized for percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test One-way ANOVA. Significant difference was set at the .05 level and the Scheffe method was employed for pair comparison.
The major results of the research were revealed. 1) Overall morality on discipline of the students at the 4th interval level was at the moderate level. Individual aspects on self discipline and group discipline were at the moderate level. 2) The self discipline and group discipline for both the overall and individual aspects were not significant different. The mean scores of these two individual aspects, classified by gender, showed that those of female were higher than those of male. 3) Classified by class levels, it was found that the overall discipline was not significant different. 4) Classified by class levels, the individual aspect on self discipline of the tenth graders showed higher than of the eleventh and twelfth graders. For group discipline, the overall result showed significant difference at .05 level while group discipline of the eleventh graders showed higher than that of the twelfth graders.
