Abstract:
This research aims to 1) investigate the involvement of teachers in academic management of Non-formal and Informal Education Centers, Samutprakan province, and 2) compare the teachers involvement in academic management, classified by their gender and working experience. Samples consisted 118 teachers in the centers in 2015 academic year, using a 5-scale rating questionnaire. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test.
The results showed that
1. The involvement of teachers in academic management of the Non-formal Education and Informal Education Centers in Samutprakan province was at a high level in all 4 aspects, as follows: an instruction aspect, curriculum and application aspect, an internal supervision aspect, and an assessment aspect, respectively.
2. Gender and working experience had no influence on their participation in the academic management of the Non-formal and Informal Education Centers in Samutprakan province.
