Abstract:
ศึกษาส่วนประกอบสำคัญของวัฒนธรรมนิสิตนักศึกษาในสถาบันอุคมศึกษาไทย วิเคราะห์วัฒนธรรมนิสิตนักศึกษาในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาไทย และศึกษาวัฒนธรรมนิสิตนักศึกษาในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาไทยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการสัมภาษณ์ ใช้แบบวัดวัฒนธรรมและการสังเกต กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ นิสิตนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 3 จำนวน 2,211 คน วิเคราะห์วัฒนธรรมด้วยวิธีการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบ สกัดตัวประกอบด้วยวิธีพีซี หมุนแกนแบบออโธกอนอลด้วยวิธีแวรีแมคซ์ วิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างของวัฒนธรรมตามภูมิหลังด้วยวิธีการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และทดสอบรายคู่ด้วยวิธีของเชฟเฟ่ และการวิเคราะห์เชิงคุณภาพ ผลการวิจัย 1. ส่วนประกอบสำคัญของวัฒนธรรมนิสิตนักศึกษามี 15 ด้าน คือ 1) การใช้เวลาเมื่ออยู่ ณ ที่พักอาศัย 2) กิจกรรมในชั้นเรียน 3) ทัศนคติที่มีต่อการเรียน 4) กิจกรรมที่ทำในเวลาว่าง 5) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างนิสิตนักศึกษากับอาจารย์ 6) การคบเพื่อน 7) ทัศนคติและความร่วมมือที่มีต่อกิจกรรมในสถาบันที่ศึกษา 8) ทัศนคติที่มีต่อที่พักอาศัย 9) การทำงานเพื่อหารายได้พิเศษ 10) การวางแผนเพื่อการประกอบอาชีพ 11) ความสนใจด้านศิลปะ 12) ความสนใจในเรื่องปัญหาของสังคม 13) ทัศนคติที่มีต่อการเมือง 14) ความเชื่อทางศาสนา และ 15) การธำรงรักษาความเป็นไทย 2. วัฒนธรรมนิสิตนักศึกษามี 14 แบบ คือ 1) มุ่งเรียน 2) กิจกรรมนิยม 3) สนใจสังคม 4) ศาสนานิยม 5) ศิษย์กับอาจารย์ 6) ศิลปนิยม 7) มุ่งอาชีพ 8) สนใจการเมือง 9) สนใจงานพิเศษ 10) ธำรงไทย 11) ใฝ่รู้ 12) สนใจอยู่หอพัก 13) กลุ่มเพื่อน และ 14) ชาตินิยม นิสิตนักศึกษาที่มีภูมิหลังด้านสำเร็จการศึกษาขั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ภูมิลำเนาเดิม อาชีพบิดามารดา รายได้บิดามารดา สถานที่ตั้งของสถาบันที่ศึกษา สาขาวิชาและสถานที่พักอาศัยต่างกัน มีวัฒนธรรมต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3. การศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพพบว่า นิสิตส่วนใหญ่แต่งกายเรียบร้อย อยู่ในกลุ่มเพื่อน ชอบอยู่หอพัก ไม่ค่อยเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม สนใจปัญหาสังคมน้อย เห็นความสำคัญของศาสนาแต่ไม่ได้ปฏิบัติ ไม่ค่อยมีความสัมพันธ์กับอาจารย์ สนใจศิลปะ การเมืองน้อย ไม่ได้ทำงานพิเศษ มีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อวัฒนธรรมประเพณีไทย ด้านการเรียน นิสิตสาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์บริสุทธิ์ และสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ ให้ความสนใจเรียนอย่างสม่ำเสมอมากกว่า สาขาวิชาสังคมศาสตร์และสาขาวิชามนุยศาสตร์
Abstract:
Studies key elements of college student culture, to analyse college student culture and to study college student culture in Thai higher education institutions by using a qualitative research method. An interview technique, questionnaires and observation were used. Questionnaires were sent to 2,211 college students. To analyse the college student culture, a factor analysis method by image factoring and Varimax rotation was applied. Also a one-way analsis of variance and Scheffe method were used to compare student culture. The finding were as follows : 1.Fifteen key elements of student culture were found : 1) Use of time in residence, 2) Learning activities, 3) Learning attitude, 4) Free time activities, 5) Faculty-student relationships, 6) Peer Groups, 7) Attitude and participation in Student activities, 8) Attitude towards residences, 9) Part-time jobs, 10) Career planning, 11) Interest in art, 12) Interest in social problems, 13) Attitude towards politics, 14)Religious faith, and 15) Thai Nationalism. 2. Fourteen different college student cultures were found : 1) Studious type, 2) Student activities type, 3) Social interest type, 4) Religious type, 5) Student-faculty relations type, 6) Art appreciation type 7) Occupational type, 8) Political interest type, 9) Part time job type, 10) Thai cultural type, 11) Eager to learn type, 12) College residential type, 13) Peer group type, and 14) Nationalistic type. The background of the subject of the study included; type of high school for graduation, home town, parent's occupations parent's income, location of institution, field of study, and residences difference in accomodation. All show that there is significant difference at .05 level 3. The search using the qualitative method had the following results : most of the student sdressed neatly in their uniforms, stayed with peer groups, liked to stay in dormitories, rarely joined in student activities, had little interest in social problems, accepted the importance of religions but not normally involved, had limited relation with their professors, had little interest in politics, arts and part time jobs., and had a good attitude toward Thai culture. The research showed that Pure Science students put more effort into their studies than the Arts and Social Science students.
