Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to develop the Hand Embroidery Curriculum in Work - Oriented Experience Group for students in Prathom Suksa 6, Surao Sam - in School, Khlongteoy District Office 1, Bangkok, and to study the students' attitude toward the curriculum.In this research, the process in developing the Hand Embroidery Curriculum was divided into four steps, 1) surveyed the fundamental data for curriculum development by studying the related researches and various reports ; interviewing the local leaders ;collecting the informations about the interest, desired content and learningactivities from students and their parents by using check list paper. 2) the collected informations were organized for curriculum structure which consisted of curriculum principles, objectives, the criteria of implementation, duration, structure form, course description, evaluation process and 10 lesson plans. The suitability and concurrence about the curriculum structure and lesson plan were evaluated and recommended by 9 specialists. It was found that the curriculum was suitable for implementation. 3) The Hand Embroidery Curriculum was implemented to 70 students in Prathom Suksa 6, Surao Sam - in School, Khlongteoy District Office 1, Bangkok by the researcher. The result of the post - test both in theory and practices showed that the student' s achivement was 73.7 % and the student' s attitude toward the curriculum was at high level.4) the Hand Embroidery Curriculum was then improved and modified in all those structure and elements which were impropriety to make the curriculum suitable for the next implementation.The result of research was that the Hand Embroidery Curriculum in Work-Oriented Experience Group for students in Prathom Suksa 6, Surao Sam - in School, Khlongteoy District Office I, Bangkok was completely developed and could be implemented effectively.The student' s attitude toward the curriculum was also at high level.
