Abstract:
The objectives of this research are: 1) to study the state of conflict management in educational Institutions of Opportunity Expansion Schools, 2) to study the method for conflict management according to the principles of the Four Noble Truths of Opportunity Expansion Schools, and 3) to propose guidelines of the conflict management according to the principles of the Four Noble Truths of Opportunity Expansion Schools under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2. The mixed research methods were used in the study. The quantitative data were collected by questionnaires from 260 samples and analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were collected by in-depth interviews with 7 key-informants and then analyzed by content analysis. The results of the study were found that: 1. The state of conflict management in educational Institutions of Opportunity Expansion Schools under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2 has Priority Needs Index from 0.42 to 0.49. The first priority was on Competing, followed by Collaborating, Compromising, Avoiding, and Accommodating, respectively.

The method for conflict management according to the principles of the Four Noble Truths of Opportunity Expansion Schools under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2 are as follows: 1) Competing; to analyze the problems based on righteousness and justice, 2) Collaborating; to find the cause of problems and try to settle with both side satisfaction, 3) Compromising; to link knowledge and experience together and to brainstorm for problem solution based on win-win agreement, 4) Avoiding; to delay the confrontation and let the time heal situations, and 5) Accommodating; to care for the mood and feeling of coworkers in conflict management in order to continue a good relationship in working together. 3. The guidelines of the conflict management according to the principles of the Four Noble Truths of Opportunity Expansion Schools under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2 can be classified in 5 aspects; 1) Competing; the administrators can set the state of happened problems and analyze the cause of the problems based on righteousness and justice under the government regulations, 2) Collaborating; the administrators consider what the problem is and try to negotiate for mutual understanding, 3) Compromising; the administrators set a policy for problem solution based on information and opinion of every sector, 4) Avoiding; the administrators delay the time to let problem decline, and 5) Accommodating; the administrators care and cherish the heart and mind of coworkers in conflict management in order to keep a good relationship in working together.
