Abstract: The epidemic situation of the COVID-19 that the world is facing has caused schools to be closed to reduce congestion and transmission due to children with low immunity. IT maintenance department staff is very essential to the school when teaching online. However, the school is greatly deprived of income and unable to hire additional staff. This leaves the IT maintenance department staff insufficient to meet the demand when teachers or school personnel make complaints for service. The purposes of this research were to identify the potentiality of the queuing technique as a tool for reducing the operation time for IT maintenance department of school and to determine the most suitable model. This study was an experimental research, and data which were the job requests submitted to the IT Maintenance Department from December 2020 to February 2021 were collected and analyzed. The samples were selected using four Queuing techniques: First Come First Serve (FCFS), Shortest Proceed First (SPF), Random Selection for Service (RSS), and Priority Service (PRI), and compared them to complaints submitted to IT maintenance department. Major research findings indicated that queuing techniques are most appropriate ways that could help shorten cycle times. IMPLICATION OF THIS THEMATIC PAPER. The researcher may use this queuing technique to present to the IT maintenance department manager to restructure the department's work during the undetermined COVID-19 epidemic that is not yet known when it will end, to apply practical in the school, and to reduce the operation time that can satisfy teachers and school personnel. The results can also be used as a reference for other relevant research studies to develop more efficient queuing systems management in the future

Abstract: ด้วยสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคระบาดโควิด 19 ที่โลกกำลังเผชิญ ทำให้โรงเรียนปิด เพื่อลดการแออัด การแพร่เชื้อ พนักงานฝ่ายซ่อมบำรุงเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศจึงมีความจำเป็นต่อโรงเรียน ทำให้โรงเรียนขาดได้รายเป็นอย่างมาก ไม่สามารถจ้างพนักงานเพิ่มได้ ทำให้พนักงานฝ่ายซ่อมบำรุงเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ มีจำนวนไม่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการเมื่อครูหรือบุคลากรในโรงเรียนทำการร้องเรียนเพื่อขอใช้บริการ งานวิจัยฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทราบว่าเทคนิค Queuing ช่วยลดระยะเวลาการทำงานของฝ่ายซ่อมบำรุงเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศของโรงเรียนได้ และรูปแบบใดที่เหมาะสมมากที่สุด การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบเชิงทดลองโดยทำการเก็บรวบรวมและวิเคราะห์โดยใช้ข้อมูลการร้องเรียนย้อนหลัง 3 เดือน เดือนธันวาคม 2563 - กุมภาพันธ์ 2564 ในงานวิจัยได้นำเอาเทคนิค Queuing 4 แบบ First Come First Serve (FCFS), Shortest Proceed First (SPF), Random Selection for Service (RSS) และ Priority Service (PRI) มาวิเคราะห์และเปรียบเทียบกับข้อมูลการร้องเรียนที่ถูกส่งมายังฝ่ายซ่อมบำรุงเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ รวมถึงสรุปว่าเทคนิค Queuing สามารถช่วยลดระยะเวลาการทำงานได้ และรูปแบบใดที่เหมาะสมมากที่สุด. การนำผลของสารนิพนธ์ไปใช้. ผู้วิจัยอาจใช้เทคนิค Queuing นี้นำไปเสนอต่อผู้จัดการฝ่ายซ่อมบำรุงเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เพื่อปรับโครงสร้างการทำงานของฝ่ายในช่วงที่การแพร่ระบาดของโควิด 19 ยังไม่ทราบว่าจะสิ้นสุดเมื่อใด เพื่อนำไปประยุกต์ใช้งานจริงในโรงเรียนเพื่อลดระยะเวลาการทำงาน ทำให้เกิดความพึงพอใจแก่ครูและบุคลาการของโรงเรียน อีกทั้งยังสามารถใช้เป็นข้อมูลอ้างอิงสาหรับงานวิจัยอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อพัฒนาการจัดการระบบคอยแถวให้มีประสิทธิภาพสูงขึ้นในอนาคตได้
