Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to 1) Develop a reading comprehension activities using the 5W1H technique for Thai language learning subjects for grade 4 students. 2) Compare the student's ability of reading comprehension's grade 4 students between before and after learning. 3) Study the students' satisfaction toward learning by using reading comprehension activities using the 5W1H technique. The population was Grade 4 students at Ban Kong Hin School, Hang Dong Sub-district, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province, 15 students. Research instruments were reading comprehension activities using 5W1H technique 4 sets of 16 hours assessment form of reading comprehension competence, and students' satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed by finding the E1/E2 efficiency mean and standard deviation. The results of this research found that The efficiency score of reading comprehension activities using the 5W1H technique for grade 4 students were E1/E2 = 81.50/81.16, the results of comparing the ability to read comprehension using the 5W1H technique found that after the study was higher than before. The students' satisfaction towards learning by using reading comprehension activities using the 5W1H technique overall, the scores were at the highest level.
