Study of learning achievement, problem solving skills and attitude towards science using the seven-step inquiry method (7e) and cooperative learning with stad technique of twelfth grade students
Abstract:
This research aims to study the effects of Seven-step inquiry method (7E) and
cooperative learning with STAD techniques that affect learning achievement, problem solving
skills and attitude towards science. The target group used in the research was 10 of twelfth grade
students in the second semester, 2561 academic year, KohChang Wittayakhom School, Trat.
The research instruments include 7 study plans of learning management plan Seven-step inquiry
method (7E) and cooperative learning with STAD techniques, Physics achievement test of
30 items, 7 problem solving skills test and attitude scale for science subjects in 20 items.
The statistic tool use in average value, standard deviation, measuring development score and
effect size.
The results of this research were as follows:
The learning achievement of twelfth grade students receiving learning management
plan Seven-step inquiry method (7E) and cooperative learning with STAD techniques have
learning achievement posttest was higher than pretest with a relative development score of
48.87% equivalent a medium level and effect size is 5.11, problem solving posttest was higher
than pretest with a relative development score of 82.93% equivalent to a high level and attitude
towards science posttest was higher than pretest
