Abstract:
ABSTRACT
This research aimed to: 1) compare the English reading comprehension ability of
students before and after learning using Murdoch integrated instructional process with
5W1H technique; and 2) study the satisfaction of students being taught by Murdoch
integrated instructional process with 5W1H technique. The research samples consisted of
30 grade 7 students studying in the second semester of academic year 2017 at Wat Bang
Ping School, Samut Sakhon Province derived by cluster random sampling. The research
instruments consisted of lesson plans, an English reading comprehension test, and
a questionnaire. Data were analyzed with mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The findings of this research were as follows:
1. The English reading comprehension ability of students after being taught by
Murdoch integrated instructional process with 5W1H technique was higher than that of
before at the .05 level of statistical significance.
2. The satisfaction of students being taught by Murdoch integrated instructional
process with 5W1H technique was overall at the highest level
