Abstract:
high (d =.83). There was no significant difference among the mean scores of self-directed learning of the three groups (p=.05).
5. The learning logs showed that the students constructed basic knowledge for writing together with developing self-directed learning and other kinds of life skills.
6. The students expressed positive attitudes towards teaching and learning using the model at a positive level, and the learning logs found that they perceived the writing instructional model as flexible, convenient, effective, engaging, innovative and friendly method for them.
