Abstract: วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย การวิจัยนี้มีความประสงค์ที่จะเปรียบเทียบมโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยระหว่างนักเรียนโรงเรียนรัฐบาลกับโรงเรียนราษฎร์ และระหว่างนักเรียนชายกับนักเรียนหญิง ทั้งโดยส่วนรวมทุกหัวข้อและจำแนกเป็นรายหัวข้อ และเพื่อหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สามกับองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ คือ เพศ การศึกษาของบิดามารดา อาชีพของบิดามารดาและรายได้ของบิดามารดา วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยใช้แบบสอบถามและแบบสอบมโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยซึ่งสร้างขึ้นเองมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แห่งความเชื่อถือได้ 0.88 เป็นเครื่องมือในการรวบรวมข้อมูล ตัวอย่างประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยนี้เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สาม สายสามัญ ในกรุงเทพมหานคร โรงเรียนรัฐบาล 3 แห่ง และโรงเรียนราษฎร์ 3 แห่ง จำนวนนักเรียนชาย 200 คน นักเรียนหญิง 200 คน รวมจำนวน 400 คน ซึ่งคัดเลือกโดยการสุ่มอย่างง่าย (Random Sampling) แล้ววิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการทดสอบค่าซี (Z-test) และหาค่าไคสแควร์ (Chi-square) เป็นรายหัวข้อ หาสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบจุดของสองลำดับ (Point Biserial Coefficient of Correlation) แบบการณ์จร (Coefficient of Contigency) และแบบ The Chi-square Test of Independence in Contigency Tables. สรุปผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล 1. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สาม โรงเรียนรัฐบาลและนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สาม โรงเรียนราษฎร์มีมโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 2. นักเรียนชายและนักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สามมีมโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 3. มีจำนวน 33 หัวข้อที่การตอบแบบสอบมโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนถูกหรือผิดขึ้นอยู่กับประเภทของโรงเรียน 4. มีจำนวน 15 หัวข้อที่การตอบแบบสอบมโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนถูกหรือผิดขึ้นอยู่กับเพศของนักเรียน 5. การตอบแบบสอบมโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สามมีความสัมพันธ์กับเพศของผู้ตอบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 6. มโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สามมีความสัมพันธ์กับการศึกษาของบิดาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 7. มโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สามไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการศึกษาของมารดาที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .01 8. มโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สามไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับรายได้ของบิดามารดาที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .01 9. มโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สามไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับอาชีพของบิดาที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .01 10. มโนทัศน์เกี่ยวกับประชาธิปไตยของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่สาม มีความสัมพันธ์กับอาชีพของมารดาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01

Abstract: The purposes of this study were to compare the concepts of democracy among Mathayom Suksa Three Students in public and private schools, male and female students and to find the correlation of the concepts of democracy among Mathayom Suksa Three Students and the following factors: sex, parents’ educational background, parents’ career, and parents’ salary. Procedures The writer constructed a questionnaire and a test on the concepts of democracy. The test had a realibility of .88. The samples were 200 boys and 200 girls in Mathayom Suksa Three Students in Bangkok Metropolis, and were randomly selected from 3 public schools and 3 private schools. Then the questionnaire and test results were treated by the statistical methods of Z-test, chi-square, point biserial coefficient of correlation, coefficient of contingency and the chi-square test of independence in contingency tables. Conclusions 1. The concepts of democracy of Mathayom Suksa Three Students in public and private schools were significantly different at the .01 level. 2. The concepts of democrary of Mathayom Suksa Three Students between boys and girls were significantly different at the .01 level. 3. Thirty-three items of the test were answered right or wrong depended on the type of schools. 4. Fifteen items of the test were answered right or wrong depended on sex of the students. 5. The concepts of democracy of Mathayom Suksa Three Students correlated with sex of the students significantly at the .01 level. 6. The concepts of democrary of Mathayom Suksa Three Students correlated with fathers’ educational background significantly at the .01 level. 7. The concepts of democracy of Mathayom Suksa Three Students did no correlate with mothers’ educational background significantly at the .01 level. 8. The concepts of democracy of Mathayom Suksa Three students did not correlate with parents’ salary significantly at the .01 level. 9. The concepts of democracy of Mathayom Suksa Three Students did not correlate with fathers’ career significantly at the .01 level 10. The concepts of democracy of Mathayom Suksa Three Students correlated with mothers’ career significantly at the .01 level.
