Abstract:
This study attempts to study quality of work life factors contributing to work efficiency of police officers in Chachoengsao Provincial Police Station by using mixed method. The subjects including 310 police officers in Chachoengsao Provincial Police Station were asked to fill in questionnaires. They were selected by proportionate convenience sampling technique. The data were analyzed with SPSS software program. Five police officers selecting by purposive sampling technique were interviewed and the data were analyzed with content analysis. It was found that: 1. The level of quality of work life was at moderate level. The aspects could be arranged from the greatest to the least as follows: Social Relevance, Constitutionalism, Total Life Space, Growth and Security, Competency Development, Adequate and Fair Compensating and, Safe and Healthy Working Condition, respectively. 2. The level of work efficiency was at high level. 3. It was found from testing hypothesis at the significant level of 0.05 that level and division hand influence on work efficiency, Constitutionalism and, Social Relevance had influenced on work efficiency in aspects of work performance, Social Relevance, and Growth and Security. Constitutionalism aspect of quality of work life had impacted on work competency. 4. A guideline to administer quality of work life should emphasize on Adequate and Fair Compensating, Social Relevance, and Competency Development, respectively.
