Abstract:
The research had objectives to 1) look for a suitable site for housing estates by using geo-information technology, 2) investigate the characteristics of organizational management of property business involving in housing estates for new era. The research was both qualitative and quantitative, so mixed method was used in the study. To qualitative research, geo-information technology was implemented, and the researcher collected the data from 19 major informants. To the use of tools, the researcher used geo-information technology tools such as remote sensing, global positioning system and geo-information technology in order to find suitable sites for housing estate projects in the area of Amphoe Mueang Chon Buri in Chon Buri Province. To quantitative research, the data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 400 people who lived in the suitable area, and Artificial Neural Networks was the statistics used in the study. The findings revealed that there should be geospatial analysis for housing projects. Large organizations can use reorganization plan so that the workload of the personnel is determined according to the conclusions of this research. In contrast, small and medium-sized organizations dont have to use reorganization plan. Nevertheless, they should hire staff with expertise in GIS to help in the analysis of the housing projects.
