Abstract:
At present, the exporting of Thai fresh fruits has high potential in developing Thais economy. The Middle East market is attractive for Thai fresh fruits exports. United Arab Emirates has the highest value and quantities imports of Thai fresh fruits in Middle East market. Moreover, United Arab Emirates is the hub in Middle East zone in distributing products to nearby countries especially in the GCC countries. The researcher realized this issue that the trend of some fruits has fluctuation of quantity and the competition in the current stage is more intense than ever before. This research aims to study supply risk factors identification of importers perspective in United Arab Emirate market, which imports Thai fresh fruits for review and control supply risk. The study used 88 respondents of Thai fruits importers in UAE market for data collection, and the sample calculated based on rule of R and used the structural equation modeling (SEM) to study the significance of factors that affected the supply risk, the factors has six latent variables includes technical, quality, cost, inventory, trading and information. The analysis shows that the main factors of the supply risks are quality factors sequentially followed by trading, information, inventory and cost factors.
