Abstract:
This study aims to comprehend about the system of logistics and supply chain business gems and jewelry and demand forecasting production planning to the appropriate to enhance the efficiency of business ABC jewelry store Muang district Uttaradit province
In this research, the researchers have used the purposive sampling method to collect data ABC Shop Jewelry entrepreneurs. The researchers have collected data through sales and production of the year 2556-2557 a total of 24 months. The data was analyzed by using time series analysis. Process of project using forecasting techniques there is three forecasting methods performed in this project namely exponential smoothing
Holt winters trend and seasonality method weighted moving average then, the researchers also used Forecasting index to evaluate the accuracy of analyzed data which could find the new safety inventory levels and data discrepancies.
The results of the study calculating the amount of safety stock level reliability 95 %
of 3 items include rings, earrings and necklaces there is a total of 62 pieces from the original,
and there are a number of 82 pieces. ABC jewelry store reduces the number of items that need to be stored in the 24.39 %
The results for inventory level have to collect value of product 3 items. Total value of product 3 items equal 106,500 baht and value of amount to reduction equal to 31,500 baht.
That ABC jewelry can reduce cost of production 31,500 baht or equal 29.57 %. This is reduce cost of production without excess production. To reduce the cost of production of the goods that does not require the production of excess demand. In the warehouse, reduced the area to store goods and reduce the cost of purchase of raw materials.
