Factors determining customer satisfaction for geo-information business in Thailand
Abstract:
An interview-based research was conducted to study the phenomenon of service quality, popularly accomplished through SERVQUAL instrument, in understanding customer satisfaction involving geo-information businesses in Northern Thailand. However the in-depth interviews discovered a one-to-one relationship between each component of the intellectual capital (i.e. human capital, customer capital, process capital and innovation capital) and the SERVQUAL dimensions, namely assurance, empathy, responsiveness, reliability. This research indicates a missing domain in the literature of service quality which is the renewability, and it allows the knowledge contents of service quality to be connected to the discipline of service innovation, a factor that drives competitiveness.
