Abstract:
The purposes of this study are (1) study the essential of managerial skills for the management level of Government Savings Bank (GSB) from opinions of regional management level (2) study the needs for development of managerial skills in regional management level of GSB. (3) compare the opinion relating to the needs for development of managerial skills from the regional management level of the GSB.Study in 3 skills that are technical skills, human skills and conceptual skills.The population consist of the regional management level of GSB. The samples were 360 persons. The research instrument for this study is the questionnaire. The Percentage, Mean, SD, t-test and F-test were used for the data analysis.The finding indicated the most GSB's regional management level, the essential of managerial skills were at high level except human skills was at middle level and their needs for development were at the high level. In comparing to the opinion aboutthe needs for development of managerial skills was found that there were no significance at sex, management level and tenure in the executive position.
