Abstract:
Radiation from a surface can be envisaged as the sum of the radiation from each point on the surface. With this prospect, a method of Monte Carlo simulation is developed to estimate view factor between adjacent rectangles in perpendicular planes. The view factors obtained agree well with those given in literature. The nethod can possibly be modified to evaluate, view factors between any two surfaces
