Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study guidelines for development of marketing strategy and logistics management of dried skimmed garlic business. As a result of more healthy of consumers, so the garlic that is spices and seasoning in Thai food and this is the best healthy food. The current study showed that research mixed method each were quantitative research and primary data. The finding from the Questionnaires for the people who consume dried skimmed garlic in Phu-Sang, Phayao Province. There are 100 Marking Mix or 4PS. The questions are 5 levels, the most, more, moderately, few, and least, as follow Likert scale. This result is the use of the supply chain organization and qualitative inquiry. There are observation and in-depth interview found in the interview 3 key person as the president, the supply chain of Ban Thungkrathiem, Phu-Sang, Phayao Province. According to the results as mentioned, there are 42 members of garlic group of Small Enterprises in Ban Thungkrathiem, Phu-Sang, Phayao Province. At the factory where has the time table to produce the garlic, around to 700-750 kilograms per time. There are 3 departments which consist of purchasing department, administrating department, and marking department. In the garlic group, it does not manage supply chain by Farm Women Group Association who are not work as a team and using traditional management. Then, it is not control system. Furthermore, most of consumers in Fhu-Sang District are attach great importance to marketing system as follows; (1) The product: The important of garlic product is cleanliness and industrial standards by guarantee from the government. (2) The price: The difference between dried skimmed garlic and fried garlic that the consumers unknown the prices or the worthiness. (3) The distribution: This refers to convenient the purchasing channels (distributor and exhibition booth). (4) The Promotion marketing: The discount at exhibition booth is the channel to persuade the former and new consumers. According to the special offer and festival season, these meet the demand of them. The result of this study is guidelines for development of marketing strategy and logistics management of dried skimmed garlic business. This is the usefulness for garlic group who are in Ban Thungkrathiem, Phu-Sang, Phayao Province.
