The participation of the school boards of basic educational institutions in school management of under Ubon Ratchathani provincial administration organization
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and to compare the participation of the school boards in basic education institutions in Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administration Organization. The analysis of opinion comparison were conducted on the basis of the respondent positions, experiences in working as school committee, and levels of education.
The sample group consisted of 155 school administrators and 158 teachers who were in charge of the organization of the information system at their schools. The members of the sample group were selected by means of the stratified random sampling. The instrument used in the data collection was a five-scale level questionnaire with the reliability value of .86. The statistic procedures employed in the data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The school boards perceived the participation in educational management of school under Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administration Organization at a moderate level in both the overall and individual aspects.
2. For the comparison of opinions to ward the participation in educational management, as classified by their status, in the overall and individual aspects, their opinions were found to be different at .05 level of significance.
3. The opinion comparison classified by their experiences in working as school committee, in the overall and individual aspects, they were found to different at .05 levels of significance.
4. For those that were classified by the level of education, in the overall and individual aspects, the opinions were found to be different ideas at .05 levels of significance.""
