Abstract:
The Bangkok Dramatic Arts College thought that a way to build a quality educational
organization was through an approach called “The Learning Organization” .The five characteristics
of this approach are 1) Learning Dynamics2) Organization Transformation 3) People Empowerment
4) Knowledge Management 5) Technology Application. This approach has been adopted by the
college over the past few years.
This study aimed at accessing the quality of learning, organizational climate and roles of
administrators and the effect of the quality levels on the learning organization approach .The study
also aimed at finding ways to build up the learning organization approach. The study gathered
information from 238 instructors at the college by using a questionnaire and interviewing
administrators about their work in supporting the learning organization of the dramatic arts college.
The statistics employed were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson ’s Product Correlation
Coefficient and multiple regression.
The results indicated that the three factors were at the moderate level. There were
statistically significant relationships between the learning organization and all three factors at the
high level. Because these three factors positively affect the learning organization of the college,
The learning organization of the dramatic arts college is only at the moderate level and there is
room for improvement by attending more these three factors. Ways to build up the learning
organization of the dramatic arts college are developing the technology in the college, supporting
the higher education, supporting rewards for the excellent personnel, facilitating the working of the
personnel and emphasizing the personnel development role of the administrators
