Abstract:
A Safety, Health and Environment Supporting System, a case study of the Petroleum Explorer and Product Factory is developed using the standard practices of safety, health and environmental management. The system can record unsafe event data, incident/accident data, victim data, data related to activities of protection & solving cause of accidents, and worked hours involving with the incidents/accidents. The system can process data and produce 17 reportd, such as, Loss Summary Report, Accident Statistical Summary Report, Accidental Data & Unsafe Events Summary Report, etc., for reviewing the managing system.
The factory chosen for this study has several branches in diffirent areas, therefore, the system was developed as a web-based application. The three-tier structure consists of a Database Server for database handing, an Application Server to be used as web application and Network Clients connecting users and the system. this design enables the users to use the system to conveniently and correctly record all data. There are five user groups in the system: General Staff Group, Nursing Staff Gruop, Human Resource Group, Safety Officer Gruop and System Administrator. The each user group will be given diiferent usage rigths to access and work with the system.
